Hey guys!
Soo this past week has been absolutly amazing. God has really...without a doubt been showin me soooo much in my heart, for the things i lack, the things i have strength and just...healing me in things i didnt even know was wrong! He been workin me in sooo many ways too its...truly a blessing to be here, so i amm soo thankful for all of you prayin for all of us here at CoveCrest, please know that we here pray for you every morning and night!
So ANYWAYS!
Last weekend was like...completely SICK!! St. Ann Marietta came here for a retreat and the music team had dropped out at the last minute and luckily Gods blessed us for having a music team here! So we became the music team for the teams and had about a day to learn all this music which was definatly the spirit workin all the way man, no joke! Anyways, these kids were confirmation kids and like..we were warned that it would be a rough crowd cause some if not most kids didnt want to be there. They came late at night first session was next to a campfire outside in the freezing cold, and we were there to play for them and lead them into some fun and into some praise and worship. And let me tell you somethin!, there is NOTHING better than praising God with your voice and talent than doing it outside, under the stars, surrounded by nothing by God's creation! These kids, like they said, were rough, but in every one of them, we could see Christ. Christ just TRYING to break out of them! Anyways, that night ended with good remarks! So the next day went on and all of us missionaries were invited to join in on the sessions and interact with them and participate in what the kids were doing, which was just...a blessing. We were also asked to be available to pray over the teens if they wanted to. So we sat in the middle of a field and waited for them to come. It was amazing. The sense of vulnerability these kids have, for some reason JUST at Covecrest, is heart warming, and giving God the opportunity to break open their lives and make them anew. Anyways, we got to know these kids very well, by name, we ate with them, chilled with them and talked and ministered to them. That night was adoration, and that was the most powerful thing of the entire retreat. It was truly indescribable of what was going on. Every kids hands were up in the air praising God, every voice was praising God, every heart was...God's. The adults and chaperones were sooo just...moved by how the spirit was flowing it was awesome. Saying Goodbye to these kids was...actually pretty hard simply because of how much we had watched them grow in Christ. How much they had taught us of how to find new ways of loving Christ. Of how possible and powerful Christ truly is. There presence and journey here was a humbling and a learning expierience for all of us. Humbling in the ways of, learning that Christ has instilled in our hearts to have the passion to do everything to get each kids that goes through here to surrender to Christ. Or even to smell the mere arouma of Christ, even when that means the surrender of our sleep or of the little personal time we get. But God had...given us the strength and just as he multiplied the loaves and fish, He DEFINATLY multiplied our rest!
Anyways!
These 3 weeks of doing God's work has truly been amazing! Please keep us in your prayers! As we are praying for all of yall both morning and Night!
Godbless love you guys!
